Looking at this "MOUNTAINEER"??????, makes me really miss the likes of CECIL GRAHAM 30 years ago. Complete with arrest in front of the mounainlair for beating up that communist protestor,...all on camera. The cops took his handcuffs off, and let him go in front of the old DTD house, and the coal companies sent him money for it.

Now "THAT" was a REAL MOUNTAINEER MASCOT!!!!!!!!!!!

This Photo-Op really was an idiotic stunt. What MORON at WVU agreed to it?

We need Marshal and their stupid animal, like we need the swine flu.

This reall was stupid.

Female "MOUNTAINEER,..very PC,..thanks for that too.

4 and 7 here we come,...maybe we can cap it off with a loss to the community college that resides in the most OBESE city in the country.

The WVU administrators deserve it.

I could care less who is our mascot, the issue is The Mountaineer is hugging it out with Marco!!

I think hate between schools in sports is healthy for our society, because it is an avenue to channel our hate. If it wasn't for sports where would that hate go?

Seeing the way you guys react to your own mascot - angry because its a woman - I can't imagine in a million years why the makers of "The Express" would paint you as intolerant or racist.

I just threw up in my mouth. If the EERS have a bad season I am putting the blame squarely on the shoulders of this young lady. Just like the 4-7 Natalie Tennant year.

Message to Durst: This is not the real Marco. The real Marco was banished last fall by Dr. Kopp and his cronies to deflect attention away from a failed football coach. Hopefully some day, we'll see him again.

I wasn't to excited about her or any female as the Mountaineer Mascot at first. But I've calmed down and now willing to give her a chance to show her stuff.
