Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will have its annual Business Expo from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Hurricane Community Center. The expo is free to the public and will showcase 31 Putnam County businesses. Business After Hours immediately follows from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost to attend the Business After Hours is $10, payable in advance or at the door. Call 757-6510. 

Regional Family Resource Network for Kanawha County will meet at noon in the Kanawha Valley Room, Schoenbaum Family Enrichment Center, Patrick Street and Fifth Avenue. West Virginia Division of Archives and History will co-host the 2008 Fall Conference and Annual Meeting of the Mining Your History Foundation on Saturday. Featured speaker will be Jefferson M. Moak, archivist for the National Archives and Records Administration Mid-Atlantic Region in Philadelphia. The state Archives and History Library will be open after the meeting until 5 p.m. The conference is free, but registration is requested. Mountain State Baptist Convention of West Virginia Region 3 Women's Auxiliary will have a Mini-Conference from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 205 Donnally St. The theme is "I'm Blessed - So Why Am I Stressed." American Red Cross will sponsor a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Southridge Church, 100 Eagle Drive, South Charleston. Blood drives will also be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at West Virginia State University, W.Va. 25, Institute; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ticketmaster, 1000 Corporate Landing; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 21 at Genesis Health Care Valley Center, 1000 Lincoln Drive, South Charleston. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Charleston-Institute Chapter will sponsor a fall sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at New Destiny Cathedral Church, 302 Delaware Ave. Furniture, clothing, pictures, electronics and more will be offered. A bag-a-buck begins at 1 p.m. 

Belle Volunteer Fire Department will have a photo shoot fundraiser from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the belle Fire Station. A $15 donation goes toward purchasing life saving and rescue equipment. A complimentary 10x13 wall portrait will be given to donors. Walk-ins are welcome and digital outdoor shots will be taken.

Kanawha Trail Club will meet for a hike at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Kanawha State Forest. Carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. The approximately 4-mile hike includes Pigeon Roost, Rocky Ridge, Pine Ridge trails and is mostly level with some moderate to steep grades. Tricky footing if wet.
