Poca woman who crashed likely in cardiac arrest, police report

POCA - A Poca woman who died Tuesday after crashing her car may have had a heart attack just before the wreck, police said.
Kathleen A. Dolin, 89, was driving on Laurel Avenue near Poca around 1 p.m. when her 1993 Oldsmobile left the roadway and continued down an embankment, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Police.
Dolin had entered cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived, according to the release. They took her to CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Dolin's family said she had a history of cardiac problems, according to the release. Trooper W.F. Donohoe of the Winfield detachment is investigating the wreck.
