WEB: gazz multimedia

Keep up with multimedia stories (video plus audio and photo slideshows) produced by the Gazette news and feature departments by clicking to the "multimedia" page at www.wvgazette.com.

Now, that gazz is "wrapped" in the Gazette's Web site, you can easily click over to it.

We've also revived the "My West Virginia" multimedia blog at thegazz.com, which features slideshows, photos and profiles "on living, working and being in that state of mind called West Virginia."

Take a look at some advance photos from a forthcoming multi-media piece on Budget Tapes and Records' John Nelson, who will recount his life as one serious music lover. He'll tell of some of the greatest concerts ever in Charleston, like the time Sting played to a handful of people at a local nightclub.

Were you there? Are you sure?

Also, view an audio slideshow from the recent 26-band Culture-fest, held this past September atop a mountain at the Appalachian South Folklife Center near Pipestem.  It's one of the state's most dramatic outdoor stages and the slideshow will give you a taste of this annual world music fest. Look for "My West Virginia" in the drop-down "Blogs" menu at the top of thegazz.com.

Also, get a free weekly e-mail heads-up on all of the Gazette's multimedia content by going to: thegazz.com/subscriptions.
